Tom Kocsis
Lalibela Project
Hungarian born Tom Kocsis is straddling the worlds of high finance and philanthropy. He is a business banker with the JP Morgan Chase corporation and he is also very passionate about photography, the African continent and his Lalibela Project in Ethiopia. In the town of Lalibela, Tom and his Ethiopian counterparts house, feed, clothe and educate fifteen orphans around the clock. On his recent visit there, Tom gave each child a digital camera and gleaned many spectacular photographs. Later this year the photographs will be exhibited in New York City.

Danny Schechter is a television producer and independent filmmaker who also writes and speaks about media issues. He joined the start-up staff at CNN as a producer based in Atlanta then he moved to ABC as a producer for 20/20. He's authored books such as Embedded: Weapons of Mass Deception: How the Media Failed to Cover the Iraq War and Media Wars: News At A Time of Terror. He is the executive editor of MediaChannel.org, the world's largest on-line media issues network, and recipient of the Society of Professional Journalists' Award for Excellence in Documentary Journalism. He has produced and directed many TV specials and documentary films, including Counting on Democracy about the electoral fiasco in Florida and Beyond JFK: The Question of Conspiracy. Today Angela talks with Danny about his views, latest projects and the 2008 presidential election.

Fast forward to 2002, Marcano established My Lil' Star the first and only minority owned and operated baby product company and in 2004 the company embarked upon a national marketing campaign launching diapers, wipes, bottles, bibs and apparel endorsed by A-list celebrity moms. Now in 2008, not only has African American Senator Barack Obama Ð also from Illinois, taken up the challenge of the presidential race, he actually stands a fair chance against the Democratic favorite Hillary Clinton. Obama has received endorsements from prestigious politicians and public figures of all racial backgrounds and at the time of taping this show, he has secured victory in the Iowa and South Carolina Democratic primaries. lessons, today we learn that Gandhi's name was actually Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi and that Mahatma, meaning

- hockey players will wear a pink HFC decal on the back left area of their helmets during all regular season games,
coaches will wear pink neck ties at team HFC Awareness Nights and HFC team-specific pink ladies' caps will be
sold at select team stores with part proceeds benefiting HFC. All this shows that hockey indeed has a heart and is also
in touch with its' feminine side.

Rasheda Ali is an actress, author, mother of two young boys, an advocate for sufferers of Parkinson's disease and the daughter of Belinda Boyd and boxing champion Muhammad Ali. Today Rasheda discusses her newest role as an advisory board member of the Israeli based, biotechnology firm Brain Storm Cell Therapeutics. Brainstorm is pioneering research and development in adult marrow-derived stem cell therapy, aimed at treating neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson's disease and spinal chord injury. EXODUS TRANSITIONAL COMMUNITY
The Exodus Transitional Community was initiated in the 1970s by a group of inmates at Greenhaven Correctional Facility who realized that prison life was not preparing them to succeed on the outside. In the 1990s Julio Medina a member of Exodus, believed that the program needed to extend beyond prison walls because freed individuals who wished to make an honest living and reconnect with their families were plagued by recidivism. Unemployment created a feeling of despair and hopelessness and ultimately they returned to crime then back to prison. Today's guests have served a combined total of nineteen years behind bars for offenses that range from sale and possession of narcotics, assault and armed robbery and first degree manslaughter. Now they have promising futures through their participation and administration of the community based Exodus program created by Julio Medina.
